PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE TALKING STICK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in economics
subjects at SMA NU Widasari, therefore this study aims to determine whether the talking
stick learning method can improve student learning outcomes, especially in economics
class x at SMA NU Widasari in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study used a quasiexperimental method (quasi-experimental) with a one group pretest posttest design.
The population of this study was all students of class X SMA NU Widasari which consisted
of 116 students. The sample in this study there are 2 classes, namely class X IPS 1 and X
IPS 2. From the descriptive analysis results show that the talking stick learning method
has an effect on economic learning outcomes for students in class X SMA NU Widasari.
The average economic learning outcomes of classes that do not use the talking stick
learning method are 58.24 and those using the talking stick learning method are 74.21.
with the difference in the average increase in student learning outcomes of 73.21%. It
can be proven from the results of inferential statistikal calculations using SPSS 26,
namely sig (2 tailed) < a or (0.010 < 0.05). So it can be concluded that talking stick
learning has an effect on economic learning outcomes for class X students at SMA NU
Widasari.
