Abstract

This research is classroom action research which aims to improve student learning outcomes. with research subjects as many as 34 students. The data collection technique used is the use of observation sheets during the learning process and tests given at the end of each cycle. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, the average score obtained for cycle I was 76.52 while classical completeness reached 64.70 percent, and in cycle II the average score obtained was 80.88 and classical completeness reached 82.35 percent. The increase in students' economic learning outcomes using the inquiry learning model is indicated by the increasing percentage of categories from the low category in cycle I to the high category in cycle II. Data from observations shows that there has been an increase in students' activeness and attention in learning economics both during learning and in their groups. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the inquiry learning model can improve the economic.
